The 2019 European Universities Volleyball Championship has finally concluded on 2nd of August with an exciting Closing Ceremony at MOSiR Malachowskiego Sports Hall.
Over 400 participants representing 27 Universities from 16 countries took part in this year’s edition of the event.
In men’s finals, the title of champion/s went to Beykent University who won a thrilling final match against Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek.
In women’s finals, the title of champion/s went to University of Bologna who won an exciting final match against Istanbul Aydin University.
The medals and awards were presented by City od Lodz Council Chairman Marcin Gołaszewski, SCAC CHAIR Joerg Foerster, EUSA Volleyball Technical Delegate Ellen-Mari Burheim, EUSA Assistant Technical Delegate Lars Rydland and OC Vice-chairman Przemysław Jagielski.

The EUSA flag was passed to next organizer representative Mr Nuno Reis – President of the Students Union of Minho University while Mr Pedro Castro – Vice-president of the Portuguese National University Sport Federation addressed the participants, warmly inviting them to the next edition of the EUC to be held in Guimaraes, Portugal.
